What are your rates?
A full day wedding coverage from the morning until late evening costs £600.
Commercial photos for example to improve your website images, starts from £70.
The same rate applies for portrait, family and baby photography.
There are no other hidden charges.
What is included in your Wedding Package?
The wedding commission includes a pre-wedding engagement shoot. This session will allow you and me to get to know each other better and it is also a great fun too. In all case you will receive a CD with high-resolution digital files and also medium-resolution files so you will be able to make as many copies as you like and share it with your friends on community sites.
A Wedding DVD slide show movie included with the choice of your music. This is supplied in a silver framed Wedding DVD case holder. An extra 10 copies will be provided which you can give to anyone you would like to, as this is an ideal gift to give to your closest friends. A hardback book sized (30x30cm and 26 pages) “Story Book” produced with photographic paper which gives brilliant colours and super sharp quality printed straight on the pages.
My partner doesn’t feel comfortable in front of the camera
If you or your partner don’t feel confident in front of a camera then some pre-wedding shots are definitely practical. I would recommend the pre-wedding shots because it would help me to find the most preferable angles suited to you and your partner. You will also pick up some knowledge on how to behave in front of my camera, so it will not be a disturbance for you on the big day.
How would you describe your shooting styles?
My approach to wedding is contemporary and documentary style, which tells the whole story of your wedding day through candid and natural-looking photos. This will include arranged group pictures of your friends and family.
When do you typically start and finish taking pictures?
I typically start coverage shortly after make-up begins, with the bride/bridal party. Coverage usually ends shortly after the first dance.
We like your photos and the pricing is within our budget, so what are next steps?
We will have to meet in person for coffee or after work drinks to get to know each other. I need to know the full scenario of your wedding day before I take on the assignment. Basically this discussion is about your wedding plans.
In order to secure the date, I will need you to sign a contract and pay a deposit.
Finally I will ask you to keep me updated about your plans via email. About 2-4 weeks before the date, we will meet again briefly to confirm all your plans. I would also like to attend your wedding rehearsal, if you will have one.
How many photos will we receive? Will they be retouched?
I provide 300-400 images for a full-day wedding. Of course I will take many more shots throughout the day but then filter out any images that are obviously unusable. All images then undergo post-production for adjustments such as colour, correction, exposure, straightening, cropping, etc.
Do you also provide black & white photos?
I will choose a selection of photos to be provided in B&W which you will receive in colour version too.
How long does it take before we can see the pictures? Can we share the photos online with our family and friends?
I will send you a small group of preview photos within one week of the wedding date, and the remaining images will be delivered in approximately 2-4 weeks.
I will provide both a link to a web gallery and a CD with high-resolution and medium-resolution digital files. You can email the web gallery to your friends and family directly so they can order copies on their own.
Can we print the photos ourselves? How do we order prints or albums?
I recommend that you and your family order hard-copy prints directly through the link I will provide. This ensures the highest quality, because each print order is printed with a lab that I have selected and trust. Your family and friends can also order prints directly from the online web gallery, which accepts credit-card payments. There are a wide range of albums are available, so I would not like to discuss it here but the minimum cost for an album starts at £150.
What information should we provide you before the day?
The more information that you can provide me in advance, the better:
- a schedule or rundown of the day
- list of group formal photos if needed
- list of your ideas if you have some
- a contact at the wedding venue so that I can arrange my own site visit
- anything else unique about your wedding
